Qian-Rui and I discussed the possibility of using beads to build molecular models for compounds that contain hybridizations other than sp
2 yesterday. We both agree that diamondoids are the best candidates. Although I knew this class of compounds for a long time. I have not thought about constructing these molecules with beads.
